Victor de La Fortelle [Directeur]

Victor de La Fortelle [directeur]: ART ET INDUSTRIE. Paris: Art et Industrie, November 1930. Original edition [VIe Annee, No. 11, November 1930]. Text in French with a section of English translations at the back. A very good vintage magazine in stiff, printed wrappers with minor shelf wear including rippling and a slightly rough spine: the contents are loosening from the cover, but the stapled text block remains secure. There are tears starting from the gutter and ending about halfway through the page on pages 33 – 40. Otherwise, interior unmarked and very clean. Out-of-print. Tipped in cover plate by Weclawowicz.

9.5 x 12.5 vintage magazine with 40 profusely illustrated pages of Deco editorial content and trade advertisements. The magazine's comite included Louis Artus, Pierre Benoit, Jacques-Emile Blanche, Francis Carco, Henri Clouzot, Lucie Delarue-Mardrus, Claude Farrere, C. Gronkowski, Jean Giraudoux, Jean Cocteau, W. Grunberg, G. Janneau, Paul Locard, Camille Mauclair, Pierre Mille, Jean Sarment, Marcelle Tinayre, Paul Valery and J.-L. Vaudoyer.
